I've run into some complications regarding my announced comic.
The first is just how hectic it's been for me lately, even more so than usual. It's just gotten insane this month.
The second is a new drawing book I discovered. It's called "Fun With a Pencil" by Andrew Loomis, and goddamn if it doesn't fix all the difficulties I've ever had with drawing anything. I'm still in the process of reading it, but I've already noticed a tremendous improvement in my artwork. I still need some time to practice using his techniques, but I promise you the end result will be well worth it.
I'll have to bump the release date of page 1 down to April sometime. I'm sorry that it's taking so long, I just really don't want to rush the finished product!
Also, check out Loomis if you've ever had difficulty with drawing something, especially people. It's such a fantastic book, I promise you it's money well spent.

Quick thoughts on the debate
Just finished watching the latest Republican debate. I'd say either Kristie or Trump won. Cruz felt a bit weak, Carson had some good moments, Rubio got completely destroyed by Donut Man, and Jeb and Kasich were completely ineffectual, as per the usual. This debate didn't have as many great moments as the others, but the results could turn out to be far more interesting and important, considering the caucuses coming up.
Gotta say though, it was really great hearing Trump call out the audience like that, and then ABC announcing later that like 80% of them were paid shills.

UPDATE #1 - Nuzlocke design progress
So! I've been a bit slow to start uploading the first few pages of the Pokemon X Nuzlocke I've promised I'd do. A million things keep getting in the way, from school to medical appointments to "complications" with my relationship with my family. However, I finally managed to complete the storyboard for page 1 this week and I feel confident I'll have the final version finished sometime early this February.
The biggest obstacle outside of my chaotic life has been character design and the setting. I keep making small changes over and over, tweaking and tweaking. As Bill Watterson said, the biggest challenge is finding characters that come alive

Pausing and improving your work instead of rushing it is a wise choice. One I'm afraid many people don't do because they want to get their work out and don't take time to really improve. So good for you for postponing it!
